City advisers in multimillion deal

Lawyers and business advisers from Sheffield have advised on the multimillion pound takeover of a Midlands-based vehicle repair claims manager by an outsourcing group from Hampshire.

Irwin Mitchell and Grant Thornton advised Crash-worth on its £11.75 million acquisition by The Innovation Group.

Andrea Cropley, partner and head of North of England corporate operations for national law firm Irwin Mitchell, led the five-strong team, including fellow corporate lawyers James Foster and Ian Chambers, tax specialist Alex Barnes and employment expert Liesel Whitfield.
