Bus operator Stagecoach Yorkshire has introduced a new ticket offer for its Nightrider bus service in Sheffield.

Fares on the N52 have been reduced from £2.50 to a special flat fare rate of £2 throughout June.

The late-night service, which has been in operation since November 2011, serves Sheffield city centre to Woodhouse and Hillsborough on Fridays and Saturdays.

Buses run at regular 30-minute intervals from midnight to 4am towards Hillsborough and 4.45am towards Woodhouse.

Rupert Cox, Stagecoach Yorkshire commercial director, said “Following customer feedback, we have decided to lower our flat fare for the N52 during June in a bid to support our customers through the tough economic climate.”
