Central Wire Industries UK Ltd today announces that Her Majesty The Queen has selected the company as winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade. This accolade is in recognition of the company’s outstanding growth of over 92% in export sales in just three years.

Currently employing 57 people from across the Yorkshire region, Central Wire Industries UK Ltd was set up in 1971 and is now part of the Central Wire Industries Ltd group of companies which is headquartered in Ontario, Canada. Central Wire Industries UK Ltd is a leading manufacturer of stainless steel and nickel-based alloy wires in both round and profile form. Both wire drawing and wire rolling operations are used to manufacture wire in over 50 different alloys at our facility in Rotherham.
