Capita reach contest finals
A Sheffield-based organisation that handles former British coal miners' industrial disease claims and pays out £1.8 million every working day, has reached the finals of the North of England Business Excellence Awards.
Capita Coal Health Contract, part of Capita Insurance Services, has beaten dozens of applicants to secure a place in the finals.
Award assessors praised the way in which senior managers had “sustained CHC’s culture and performance during a period of change.”
