Credit card, mobile phone and internet ID protection specialist CPP Group has announced 115 job cuts.

The company employs 1,340 people, including 400 at a state-of-the-art call centre in Chesterfield. Most of the jobs going are in management and admin positions in York.

CPP said the cuts are part of efforts to move towards a ‘more customer-focused business structure’ – suggesting the call centre jobs are not in the firing line.
