Thornbridge Brewery has become the latest business to become a patron of Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, the area’s official tourist board.
Bakewell-based Thornbridge has joined Chatsworth House Trust, Elysian Hospitality, which runs the East Lodge Hotel and Restaurant at Rowsley and Callow Hall near Ashbourne, Losehill House Hotel and Spa at Hope and No 6 The Square Tea Rooms in Buxton as tourist board patrons.
Thornbridge Brewery’s owner, Jim Harrison, said: “As someone who both lives and works in the area, I know the importance of the visitor economy to our area.
“A thriving business economy is vital to the future of the Peak District and I hope that Business Peak District, which I represent, Thornbridge and the tourist board can work together to ensure we continue to improve every aspect of life here – for tourists, residents and enterprises alike.”
Tourist board chief executive David James said: “We genuinely appreciate the generous support our patrons offer to help us put the Peak District on the world tourism map, and are very pleased to welcome Thornbridge Brewery as the latest in an elite band of our key business ambassadors.”
