AMS Asbestos Management Services has opened a new Yorkshire office at Doncaster Business and Innovation Centre in response to increased demand for its services in the region,
The asbestos management specialist’s new office includes bespoke laboratory and training facilities and will service its growing portfolio of social housing clients, as well meet demand from the municipal, industrial and commercial sectors in Yorkshire.
AMS has created four new jobs in the region with the appointment of three surveyors and Suzanne Smith as operations manager.
Prior to joining AMS, Suzanne Smith was an asbestos officer at St Leger Homes, which manages over 21,000 council homes throughout Doncaster, and senior surveyor at workplace enviromental consultants Tersus.
AMS’s managing director, Stewart McNicholl, said: “While the opening of the new office in Doncaster is a significant investment for us, we have made the move with confidence about the future due to increased demand for our services in the region.”
