A former member of boyband JLS, JB Gill, will share a stage with multi-millionaire mumpreneur Annabel Karmel at this year’s MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival in Sheffield.
Having clocked up five number one singles, two BRIT awards, two MOBOs and two double platinum selling albums JB is no stranger to success. But since the band went their separate ways in December 2013, he has been following a different road of success, as an inspiring entrepreneur with a 10 acre deer farm.
He’s also become an active advocate of Rockstar Youth’s campaign to encourage 18-30s to capitalise on the government’s Start- Up Loans initiative.
Annabel Karmel MBE is the UK’s No.1 children’s cookery author and one of the UK’s leading female entrepreneurs. Since launching with The Complete Baby and Toddler Meal Planner more than 20 years ago, she has written 40 books, selling over 4m copies worldwide.
Coupled with a vast digital following, recipe apps, cookbook-inspired supermarket food ranges, Annabel has become an inspirational role model for parents – especially mothers who want to start up a business. As part of Annabel’s appearance she’ll also be promoting her latest book ‘The Mumpreneur’ and signing copies.
Joining Annabel and JB, MADE will also welcome Innocent Drinks’ Joe McEwan; Petra Wetzel of Scottish brewery West Beer; Jude Ower CEO of innovative, philanthropic gaming company Playmob and Checkatrade founder Kevin Byrne, amongst others.
This year’s MADE will focus on offering practical hands-on advice. A series of Masterclasses will link with the main event held in Sheffield City Hall on the Thursday October 22.
