Aldi is hiring assistant store managers in Sheffield – with salaries rising to almost £40k

Aldi is recruiting store assistants and assistant store managers at stores in Sheffield and the pay is particularly impressive.

The supermarket giant, which is known for paying its staff well, is advertising for the roles on a permenant basis, with successful applicants to start immediately.

Store assistants are wanted at the stores in Mansfield, Doncaster, Sheffield Archer Road and Norton.

The pay ranges from £9.40 per hour to £10.41 per hour, both of which are above the UK living wage.

This role includes checking off deliveries, dealing with enquiries, ensuring that the shelves are fully stocked with well-presented products and customer service.

Assistant store managers are also wanted in Mansfield and Sheffield.

The salary for this role is between £32,345 and £39,445 per annum, pro rata.

The contracts are 48-hours per week. 45-hour and 40-hour contracts are also available pro-rata.

Assistant store managers support the store manager with sorting out deliveries, placing orders or dealing with customer queries. They also manage rotas and customer service.

During lockdown Aldi has been one of the supermarkets operating a traffic light system to help ensure social distancing.

Stores are still enforcing social distancing measures in order to keep customers safe, and new recruits would need to comply with these.
