Kier Sheffield is celebrating a double success at the Considerate Constructors Scheme National Awards.
The partnership between Sheffield City Council and Kier Group, which carries our repairs and maintenance to around 42,000 council-owned homes and public buildings was praised by judges for being “exceptional” and received two bronze awards.
Kier regional managing director Simon Bullen said: “We are extremely proud to be presented with these awards.
“Over 500 companies are registered on the scheme but only 59 received bronze, silver or gold awards this year. Receiving two awards is testament to the hard work of every member of the Kier team who work tirelessly to ensure that the residents of Sheffield are receiving the best possible service every day.”
Kier scored 37 out of a possible 40 points in the most recent Considerate Constructors Scheme assessment, carried out on day-to-day housing repairs in October, which meant the company was officially classed as “exceptionally good.”
The company got full marks for being considerate and accountable in the assessment, which covered a total of eight categories of performance.
