Penistone is the next stop for the Soul Train!

The Soul Train is steaming into South Yorkshire with what is promised to be “a fine feast of soulful gems”.

Soul Train, coming to Penistone Paramount

The show, which is back after a previous successful visit to the venue, features a fun presentation of 1960s and 70s soul classics by a team of singers and dancers.

The songs range from the early days of Tamla Motown, Stax and Atlantic Records through to the disco years and beyond.

Featured in the feel-good production are classic hit songs by Stevie Wonder, The Isley Brothers, The Supremes, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, Candi Staton and Whitney Houston. It’s the time for festive favourites, too, with hits such as A Winter Wonderland and All I Want For Christmas Is You.

Soul Train is at the Penistone Paramount on Friday, December 13.
