Light My Fire star Will Young sets off smoke alarm - AUDIO
FLAMING ‘eck! Light My Fire chart-topper Will Young sparked an evacuation at Hallam FM when he blew out candles on a cake live on air and set off the smoke alarms, writes Graham Walker.
Staff fled and music was played until the alarms had been silenced after the scare during the Big John@Breakfast programme.
Big John, who presented Will Young with the cake to celebrate 10 years since he won Pop Idol on TV, said: “I’m going to have to go on another health and safety course!”
