Kiki Dee set to break hearts in Sheffield
For almost two decades, famous Yorkshire singer Pauline Matthews '“ better known by her stage name Kiki Dee '“ and Carmelo Luggeri have been touring their acoustic live show across the UK and Europe.
Performing in this stripped back fashion allows each of the pair to shine and create a sense of intimacy for the audience.
And 2018 marks 71-year-old Kiki’s 55th year in the music industry and has cemented her status as one of the UK’s finest vocalists.
She has enjoyed a string of hits over the years, including top-20 hits Amoureuse and Loving and Free, as well as the world famous Don’t Go Breaking My Heart alongside British music icon Elton John, a worldwide number one back in 1976 and which has gone on to sell one million copies in the UK alone.
Kiki and Carmelo’s latest critically acclaimed album, A Place Where I Can Go, features 11 tracks including the haunting duet Horses with Scottish singer Eddi Reader, of Fairground Attraction fame.
