After the success of their sold-out drive through cinema experiences last summer and at Christmas, The Village Screen are continuing to run their cinema events at Gulliver’s Valley in the Rother Valley.

Claire Atkinson, Founder at The Village Screen said: “These events are the perfect, safe, treat to enjoy with your bubble during Covid times and beyond.

"They are bringing an epic cinematic line up of retro films and more modern releases to the beautiful grounds of Gulliver’s Valley from March 4 to March 14. “Some of these events will also be the perfect way to celebrate a belated Valentine’s treat with your love ones once lockdown is over.”

Films will include True Romance, Romeo & Juliet and 10 Things I Hate About You, as well as Jurassic Park, The Goonies, Toy Story 4, Knives Out and many more.

Films will be screened using a 24ft inflatable screen and all cars will be given their own, sanitised, in-car speaker system to listen to the films.

Claire added: “The Village Screen promises that these events will feel intimate and special, with the wooded grounds at Gulliver’s Valley providing the perfect setting for a memorable experience to enjoy with your bubble. The Village Screen’s drive through cinema has received incredible reviews from customers who attended in the summer and at Christmas, with audiences loving the cinema experience, as well as the street food delivery service, friendly staff and DJ entertainment, all while feeling extra safe too.”

Tickets are priced at £38 per car, plus booking fee, and are on sale now via https://www.thevillagescreen.com/whats-on. The Village Screen are keeping these events deliberately small and intimate to ensure everyone attending has a fantastic experience (including those seated in the back of the car).

Claire said: "The Village Screen is optimistic that these events will be allowed to go ahead in early March, once the current lock down is over. Especially as Drive In events are the only events allowed under Tier 3 restrictions. However, if the current lockdown is extended into March then they will look to postpone these events.”
