Matt and bandmates Charlie Simpson and James Bourne split 11 years ago to pursue solo careers, but are back together due to a sense of “unfinished business”.

After leaving Busted , Charlie formed alternative band Fightstar, releasing three albums before deciding to focus on solo work, leading to his top-10 album Young Pilgrim.
