A different sound of Christmas with Brigantes Orchestra

There’s still time to enjoy a different sound of Christmas as Sheffield’s Brigantes Orchestra presents its winter concert at St Marie’s Cathedral this Sunday, December 8.

The Sunday afternoon entertainment, which begins at 3.30pm, will see the Brigantes Strings present a selection of Baroque Bonbons, including Autumn and Winter from Vivaldi's Four Seasons with guest violinist Jonathan Martindale, Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No 3, and Pachelbel’s famous Canon in D.

“We felt this programme would be the perfect way to escape a busy Sheffield and the Christmas shopping for an hour on a wintery Sunday afternoon,” said Brigantes Orchestra founder and leader Quentin Clare.
