Firefighters rescue elderly Sheffield woman who slipped and fell

Firefighters were called out to rescue an elderly woman who slipped and fell behind a locked door in a Sheffield property in the early hours of this morning.
The incident took place at a property in Whirlow Lane, Whirlow at around 4am.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "She slipped and fell behind a locked bathroom door.
"We had to break the door down.
"She'd hurt her head, but did not need to be hospitalised."
A total of one appliance was sent to the incident from the Lowedges fire station.
