Stars of the academy rewarded by caretaker boss
Caretaker boss Ian Evatt said Luke Rawson had earned his cameo role off the bench.
“He’s been top scorer in the youth team and showed a fantastic attitude and commitment to being a better person and better player,” Evatt said. “It’s important that you reward that.”

“They’re shining examples that if you do the right things, if you commit yourself to being a good football player, you’re rewarded,” Evatt added.
“We did it to show the rest that if you apply yourself properly you get a chance in the first team. Hopefully the rest of the youth team will see them as an example.”
