These dogs range from great big Cane Corsos and Atikas, to teeny weeny Pugs and Patterdales. They all have their sweet individual personalities and quirks, and are ready to find their home comforts with their new forever family.

9. Ermintrude, a 2 year old Bulldog
Ermintrude is quite the character, and is full of beans. She is absolutely adorable and is a small, chunky bundle of giddy fun! Ermintrude adores people, adores the limelight and all the cuddles she can get. She is super friendly, and is also dog friendly, but is too much for little ones. Ermintrude actually does best in a calm environment as she is easily over excited, which can lead to a bit of humping. She could live with a well matched dog, but isn’t cat tested. Ermintrude may have the odd accident as she settles in, but does try to stay clean, and when in a good routine will be housetrained. She does enjoy a nice walk, and isn’t even phased by rain. 10. Bodhi, a 9 year old crossbreed
Bodhi is a very handsome medium-large boy, who is around 30kg. He arrived at the shelter in terrible shape, and absolutely petrified. It took time to build up Bodhi’s trust, but he has transformed into a loveable, playful goofball, full of kisses and cuddles. But Bodhi does not trust strangers, and needs very slow and careful introductions to anyone new. When Bodhi loves you, he really loves you and you’re his for life. He is a very intelligent boy, fully housetrained, and he can be left alone for 5-6 hour periods at a time while he snuggles on the sofa. He needs medication for a skin allergy. He will need walks in quiet countryside where he can use his nose. Bodhi will be the most loyal, loving companion for his new owner. Photo: Helping Yorkshire Poundies
