Man injured in early morning attack in Doncaster

The 44-year-old was walking along Hall Gate in Doncaster town centre when he was attacked by a man.

He was knocked to the ground and repeatedly punched.

The culprit was white with fair hair.

Police said the victim raised the alarm in a nearby takeaway.
