Matthew Duffy, prosecuting, told the hearing on January 9 how police believed Newall was speeding and he later registered 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the limit is 35 microgrammes.

Hide AdNewall pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit on Upper Wortley Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham, after the incident on December 7.
Mr Duffy said Newall has also admitted to a previous drink-driving matter but this is subject to a pending special-reasons hearing.
Karen Moxon-Smith, defending, said the special-reasons hearing relates to suspected drink-spiking.
Magistrates opted to adjourn sentencing until February 18 to tie-in all matters at one hearing.
