Sheffield dad warns residents after thieves break into his car TWICE in one month

The man, who did not want to be named, said the latest incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday (December 29), just a little over a month after the first incident.
He wrote on Facebook: "The last time I posted on here about this topic was the 25th of November this year.

Hide Ad"My car has one again broken into by those thieving scum of the earth. Broken into between 2:52am and 2:58am on Retford Road just a little up the road from the iron bridge shop.
"I know this because my infant son had woken up for one of his feeds and I heard them put the window through this time.
"Pretty sure something disturbed them because when I was getting ready to go outside, they bolted in a silver car parked around the corner."

Hide AdHe reminded the residents not to leave any tools inside their vehicles as this could increase the risk of being robbed.
"Nothing of mine was taken because there was nothing left to take,” he said.
He also said the thieves now no longer target work vehicles as his neighbour's car, a Vauxhall Insignia, is also believed to have been targeted.

Hide Ad"I knew they had because they had wiped away the frost on their back and side windows to have a look in their torches.
"Thought it was just work vehicles they were targeting but it seems like they don't care who they target anymore.
"If you see something like this happening or it's happened within minutes then CALL THE POLICE.
"I called them and they were round in literally minutes. If I wasn't feeding my son, I genuinely believe the police would have caught them red handed,” he added.
