Officers arrived at the semi-detached home on Edgedale Road, Nether Edge, this afternoon (August 6) to search it and the garden.
Ex-councillor Mohammad Maroof and his family lived at the property when a gunman opened fire at it in April last year- one of four incidents linked by detectives.

They added they would not be releasing further information due to ‘sensitivities' surrounding the probe.
When The Star visited the scene this afternoon, our reporter was told that Mr Maroof and his family still live at the house.
One resident added that activity around the house was ‘constant’ and the situation ‘was not what you want when you have children’.
