West Yorkshire Police are hunting for a Calderdale man with links to Sheffield after he failed to comply with notification requirements following his release from prison.

Farid Boughlan, aged 39, was released from prison after serving time for a serious sexual assault in London. West Yorkshire Police have issued a wanted appeal to find Boughlan, who’s also linked to London and Coventry.

West Yorkshire Police said there is no evidence Boughlan has left the country, but admitted he could be anywhere in the UK at this time. They described him as a North African male, around six-feet in height with brown eyes and may be walking with a limp. Boughlan also has a number of tattoos, including an anchor and skull on his left arm; a chinese symbol on his neck; and numbers on his fingers.

Anyone with information which could help officers locate Boughlan should contact officers on 101 or by using the 101livechat function. Crimestoppers can also be contacted on 0800 555 111.
