The number of schools hit by positive tests since pupils returned to school is increasing, with hundreds of students at a number of schools impacted by positive coronavirus tests among staff or students.
Here are all the latest schools which have been forced to take action

Hide AdAbbeyfield Primary School confirmed a case earlier today, taking the number of schools in the city with known cases to at least five.
A letter to parents said: “We have strictly followed advice directly from Public Health Sheffield. This includes sending home the children in this bubble, sending the relevant staff home and enhanced cleaning of surfaces.
“The school operates with class bubbles and these bubbles are separated throughout the school. This limits the chances of children from other bubbles coming into contact with one another.
“Social, protective bubbles, are a way of enabling us to isolate and reduce virus transmission if a case is identified at any time.”

Hide AdThere have been two Covid cases confirmed at King Edward VII School in Broomhill – with one student in Year 8 and another in Year 11 having contracted the virus.
A Sixth Form student at nearby Birkdale School tested positive for Covid-19 last week, while there were also confirmed cases at Chaucer School in Parson Cross and at Hillsborough Primary School.
Children at Bramley Sunnyside Junior School, Bramley, Rotherham, also have to self-isolate for two weeks after a dinner lady tested positive.
Sheffield Council has been asked to provide a list of all the city schools with confirmed Covid-19 cases but has not yet responded to the request.

Hide AdChaucer’s head teacher, Scott Burnside, said one of the ‘bubbles’ of students at the secondary school has been ‘temporarily closed’ as a result of the case.
At Hillsborough Primary, pupils and teachers were sent home to self-isolate last week after a confirmed case.
It is not thought any Doncaster schools have been hit at this stage.
