SKELETONS, nurses, Snow White – they were all doing their bit to help a South Yorkshire church.
They were among the costumes chosen by youngsters at Conisbrough's Ivanhoe Primary School at a day of fundraising which will help repair vandalism at St Peter's Church in the town.
Around 200 children taking part in events including a fancy dress sponsored walk, a harvest festival and a coffee morning at the school on Old Road. Money raised from the event will be split between the school and the church.
Headteacher Joe Brian said: "We have a good relationship with St Peter's here and the children were keen to support it."
