FOOTBALLERS from a Sheffield primary school will be going for goal this season as one of the best turned out teams around – thanks to a new kit sponsorship deal.
Pitsmoor's Pye Bank Primary is being backed by one of the UK's largest independent mobile phone recycling companies, ShP Limited.

ShP's sales manager Raff Latif is a close friend of the school's PE teacher Garfield Walters and he saw how talented the team was during a pre-season training match.

Raff was also impressed with all the hard work Garfield had put into the team and the local community.

The shirt sponsorship means all 14 members of the boys' senior team will have a brand new kit.

Garfield said: "The team and I really appreciate the kit sponsorship. Deals like this save the costs of having to buy new kit from our limited funds and makes us look fully professional when we turn up to matches.

"We have a lot of talent here and they deserve only the best – I cannot thank Raff and ShP enough for their generosity."

Raff said: "From knowing Garfield and understanding just how much hard work he puts into the school and local community, it gave me great pleasure in offering the team kit.

"After growing up in a culturally diverse inner city school like Pye Bank myself, I can appreciate and understand just how pleased the team will be."

ShP Ltd also sponsor the Football League side Morecambe FC.
