YOU'VE heard of night school – but have you ever considered attending knight school.
Now a new course offers children the opportunity to get lessons in swordsmanship from a real knight at Bolsover Castle, near Chesterfield.

All this week young visitors will be able to learn the skills required of a medieval warrior, get armoured up for battle, have sword-fighting lessons and participate in a mock battle.

The English Heritage Course is for children aged up to 12 with the opportunity for adults to play their part as extras in the big battle scenes.

There is no need to book and mums and dads will be encouraged to have a go too, making a great family day out.
