VISITORS to a Sheffield museum can step inside a time machine this weekend to see bygone eras.
Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet will be hosting attractions from the Victorian era through to World War Two on Sunday.

Children's activities will be staged throughout day, including a dame school for Victorian children, making Victorian Christmas decorations, making a toy tank, joining the Air Raid Precaution Wardens and learning to be a firefighter.

The Hamlet opens at 11.30am and closes at 4.15pm. All of the activities taking place throughout the day are free and included in the usual cost of entry to the site – £3 for adults, £2 concessions and accompanied children are free.
