BOB the Builder visited a Sheffield school on a vital 'fix-it' mission.
But the popular TV character wasn't there to mend a leaky roof or put up an extension – instead Bob told youngsters at Brightside Infant School all about the dangers of building sites.

Bob was promoting safety as part of his national campaign, but also told children all about life in the building industry.

"Building sites are not playgrounds, and it's important we all work to keep children safe," Bob told the pupils.

Bob also spilled the beans about his big live show which is coming to Sheffield City Hall on June 6 and 7 – which has a strong environmental theme.

Spud's Big Mess is a 90-minute musical stage show which is visiting 16 European countries over the summer.
