IT was full steam ahead for model railway enthusiasts when they held their annual exhibition in Sheffield.
Groups and individuals fascinated with building and collecting model railways displayed their prize possessions at Birkdale School in Broomhill, Sheffield, on Saturday and Sunday.

They were on hand to talk about their own collections and to admire those of other enthusiasts who took part in the annual show.

People of all ages visited the show, from pensioners to children, to see around 20 different railways of differing gauges set up and operating.

Regular demonstrations were also given throughout the weekend.
