KIDS at Baslow primary school raised nearly £100 for Christian Aid by filling a specially designed bucket with coins.
Children at St Anne's C of E Primary drew a giant picture of a bucket to represent the desperate need for clean water in some parts of the world.
They then collected coins to fill in more than 130 circles on the drawing, raising a total of £97.40 which was presented to Christian Aid's Baslow village co-ordinator June Powell.
During a special school assembly Jane Shute, a volunteer worker for Christian Aid, also showed children photos of the charity's work in Africa.
