THE writer of hit kid's TV show Chucklevision will help launch Rotherham's ninth Children's Book Festival this weekend.
Comedian and writer Ian BIllings will be performing his 'Talking Pants' show at Dinnington Library tomorrow at 3pm.

The week-long celebration of reading kicks off with Herbert's Circus Extravaganza at Wath, ventriloquist Kimmo at Maltby Library and poet, Craig Bradley, at Mowbray Gardens Library, all at 10.30am.

Theatre group Third Nail will perform excerpts from their recent production of the BFG at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12:30pm.in All Saints' Square.

And Craig Bradley will lead a story walk at 2pm from the Big Screen in All Saints Square to Clifton Park.

Other events include a visit to Central Library by storyteller Ben Haggarty on June 30, and a bongo workshop organised by the Get Sorted Music Academy at Mowbray Gardens Library on July 3.
