Sheffield folk looking for a way to work off their Christmas Day indulgences are invited to take part in an annual Boxing Day raft race.
The event, organised by Stephen Eyre of the Chapeltown sub aqua club in Sheffield, takes place on December 26 in Matlock.
Beginning at 10am, competitors set off from the centre of Matlock near the railway station and make their way down a two to three mile course which includes a weir.
People are welcome to enter on the day as long as they are over 16 and have a dry suit and their own raft. Participants under 18 need to have parental supervision. Hundreds of people are expected to take part and the event was watched by 5,000 people last year.
