Tudor music is brought to life at Derbyshire’s Haddon Hall

A unique evening of 16th century folk music will be held around the ancient, roaring fireplace of the banqueting hall at Haddon Hall in Derbyshire.

On Friday, April 10, music group Piva, which plays a wide range of authentic period instruments, will entertain visitors.

Piva musician Jane Moulder said: “The fact that so much of Haddon Hall’s late medieval and Tudor architecture has survived is rare and the period of the house is absolutely right for the music we play.”
