It was a white knuckle return for the action-packed Arenacross tour in Sheffield.
The penultimate round of the series motored into Sheffield and entertained 8,000 fans with a night of superfast racing, lights, lasers, fireworks, freestyle motocross, music, crashes, pure grit and passion.
The guests at the Sheffield Arena were treated to some of the most breathtaking freestyle motocross tricks ever seen in Britain, while racers pelted round the purpose-built course in their bid for glory.
Matt Bates, e22 managing director and Arenacross tour promoter, said: “Sheffield was yet again an incredible crowd and to see the arena sold out yet again just inspires us to bring Arenacross back for another year.
“As the tour moves to London’s infamous Wembley Arena, the battle for championship looks like it’s going down to the final race.”
On Saturday night, Florent Richier took his first win of the tour, with Cyrille Coulon in second place and Mickael Musquin in third.
Some 3,000 tonnes of earth transformed Sheffield Arena into a dirt paradise for one night only.
