Performing arts students from schools across South Yorkshire will be treading the boards at Sheffield’s Lyceum theatre next week as part of the UK’s largest youth drama festival.
Ten South Yorkshire schools are taking part and students from Hinde House secondary school, King Ecgberts and Fir Vale will perform for the public as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival.
Year 11 pupils, aged 15 and 16, from Hinde House will be performing The Comedy of Errors, with 16-year-old Fungai Karigambe taking the lead as Antipholus of Syracuse.
Performances will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
