Cast members of a smash-hit musical rocked out in front of the Town Hall to mark the show’s arrival in Sheffield.

Rock of Ages is on now at the Lyceum Theatre until Saturday, November 1.

The show stars The Bill and Holby City actor Ben Richards as Stacee Jaxx, and former Hear’say singer Noel Sullivan as Drew, as well as Cordelia Farnworth, who plays Sherrie Christian.

They rocked out alongside other members of the cast to promote their arrival in Sheffield, following a three-year stint in London’s West End.

The smash-hit musical is also still entertaining audiences on Broadway after five years.

The show unashamedly embraces rock songs of the 1980s to tell the story of two aspiring rock musicians who learn about the reality of showbusiness the hard way.

It features more than 30 hits including Don’t Stop Believin’, The Final Countdown, Dead or Alive, We Built This City, Here I Go Again and Can’t Fight This Feeling.

Tickets for the show are priced from £22 to £34, with concessions and group discounts available.

They can be purchased by calling the box office on 0114 249 6000 or by visiting sheffieldtheatres.co.uk
