Three social media sensations will perform at a poetry event in Sheffield tonight.

Canadian poet Boonaa Mohammed, award-winning Australian spoken-word artist Kamal Saleh and hip hop artist-turned-performance poet Tommy A-Man Evans are touring the UK, helping to raise vital funds for orphans around the world with Islamic Relief.

The trio, who have had millions of views and followers on YouTube and Facebook, will perform at Sheffield Hallam University’s Hallam Hall, in Howard Street, at 7pm.

“I’m really excited to be working with Kamal Saleh and Tommy Evans,” says Boonaa Mohammed, who has toured the UK with Islamic Relief in previous years.

“It is a real privilege to come together and support the vital work Islamic Relief does, supporting thousands of under-privileged orphans throughout the world.

“Sponsorship can really change a child’s life and fill it with happiness, as every child deserves.”

Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased through the Islamic Relief UK - www.islamic-relief.org.uk/events
