PEOPLE in Sheffield will be able to sup ale while learning about the city’s history when a new pub opens next week.

The Church House, St James Street, opens its doors next Thursday, specialising in cask ales as well as serving deli food and fresh coffee.

More than £200,000 has been spent restoring and refurbishing the Grade II listed building, close to the cathedral.

Special displays are on show inside dedicated to cask ale and Sheffield’s history.
