Sheffield shopkeeper Chris Beech (pictured) toasted the first anniversary of his eponymous inner-city farm shop at Walkley with Beeches Brew, a real ale created specially by Bradfield Brewery in honour of the occasion.

The beer proved so popular with customers on Saturday that stocks sold out in 24 hours: “It’s a winner. We got through ten cases in one day,” says Chris.

Taster sessions continue throughout this week, with Beeches bangers and Beeches burgers, both using the brew, and chutney sampling with Just Preserves at 11am today.
