INVESTIGATORS launched a crackdown on nightclub bouncers in Sheffield and Rotherham.
Security Industry Authority officers visited 33 pubs, bars and clubs in one night and inspected 94 door supervisors.
The authority is now looking into one employer who they suspect of operating without the correct licence.
Five doormen were issued with warnings for failing to display their licence, failing to disclose a previous offence, or for not informing the authority of a change of address.
SIA head of investigation Nigel Davies said: “We will be dealing with the offences found during this operation but overall the results are positive. Any breach of licence conditions is a criminal offence.”
