A pregnant mum of two is organising an event in Sheffield city centre to help families find parental advice and support services.

Kate Hayward, a mother to two young boys who is pregnant with her third child, is putting together the event with a small team of mums.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 10, at the Mercure Hotel and Winter Garden and is designed for under-fives and their parents.

Admission is free and last year’s show attracted almost 4,000 people.

The volunteer-run event will include birth preparation classes, children’s clothing tips, dance and music classes and baby wearing advice.

Kate said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be organising the show for a second year running.

“The aim is to help families find out what Sheffield has to offer. It is incredibly important to help families get out of the house and find something to do.”

The show will present to the public what Kate and her team do with online non-profit organisation Little Sheffield, which provides parental support and advice.
