MOTORWAY works are continuing at locations around South Yorkshire with disruption expected for motorists.
On the M1 at junction 34, near Meadowhall, long-term work to replace traffic light systems on the roundabouts means overnight works will remain until April, with restrictions on roundabouts and slip roads between 9pm and 5am nightly.
Meanwhile, central reservation barrier works on the M18 at junction three, near Doncaster, means various lane closures in both directions, sections of hard shoulder running and a 50mph speed limit. Work takes place 24 hours a day until April.
And slight delays are expected on the M18 at junction 4, West Moor, east of Doncaster, due to central reserve barrier works. There will be various lane closures, narrow lanes in both directions and a 50mph speed limit until 14 February. The majority of the work takes place between 1.30am and 6am.
Work has taken place resurfacing slip roads on the M18 at junction one, for Bramley, at the weekend, and involved slip road closures and other disruption to traffic on the junction and on the M18 motorway itself.
