Sheffield favourites Milburn are back together and back on the road – with not one but four sold-out hometown headline shows.
Tickets for the first dates at Sheffield’s O2 Academy the end of the month sold out within minutes – leading to the quartet of Louis Carnall, Tom Rowley, Joe Green and renowned solo artist and Reverend and The Makers bassist Joe Carnall junior to add two more shows.
And these have both sold out as well – but don’t worry if you missed out, your Star is giving you the chance to be there.
Your Star has teamed up with the band to giveaway two pairs of tickets to Milburn’s first hometown show in eight years, on Thursday, April 28.
MORE MUSIC NEWS:
Promoter Roll Out The Barrel said: “It’s been 10 years since Milburn’s major label debut Well Well Well.
“Now the band, who kick-started the Sheffield revival that would give birth to, among others, Arctic Monkeys and Reverend and The Makers, are back.
“When Milburn parted company eight years ago, it seemed they may be remembered only as an influence on more successful artists still to come – a band’s band perhaps.
“However, over time it became clear this music would not die, stubbornly refusing to take its place in the backwaters of Spotify.
“Instead the songs reached a new generation.
“Now thanks to overwhelming public demand Sheffield’s original heroes are back, headlining four massive anniversary shows in their hometown.
“No-one knows what lies ahead, but we’ll see you down the front.”
