CHATTY Man Alan Carr will be making a spectacle of himself when he brings his Spexy Beast Live 2011 UK tour to Sheffield – and you could be chatting to him backstage.
The Star has teamed up with tour bosses to give one lucky reader and a guest the chance to meet the comedy superstar and win tickets.
Four others will get a pair of tickets each to see the show at the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield.
He’s on for two nights, Friday and Saturday October 14 and 15.
The 34-year-old, raised in Northampton, is the son of ex-Northampton Town and Nuneaton Borough FC manager Graham Carr.
He moved to Manchester, after a string of dead-end jobs, in a bid to become a comedian.
And it worked.
The best-selling author and chat show supremo became a huge star and a family favourite on the back of his television hits, including Friday and Sunday Night Project, co-hosted with Justin Lee Collins, and current big show, Alan Carr: Chatty Man.
Now he is returning to his stand-up roots, in his first major tour in four years.
He’s won top honours including BBC Best New Stand-Up, British Comedy Award for Best Live Stand Up, Royal Television Society Entertainment Performance of the Year and Best In Show at the 2006 Sheffield Comedy Festival.
The Spexy Beast tour comes with a warning of swearing and humour of an adult nature, with access restricted to those aged 15 and above.
