WE asked Star readers to tell us about their favourite Sheffield Restaurant.
And that's just what you did - in your thousands.
But there could only be one winner.
And, after a count of votes, we can today reveal The Star Readers' Restaurant of the year for 2010 is Zara's Restaurant in Crookes.
You told us the food, decor and the service were all second to none - just the place to celebrate that special occasion where quality is always guaranteed.
Owner Shabaz Choudhry was naturally delighted - particularly as the awards come shortly after Zara's was named Restaurant of the Year on www.currylovers.org.
He said: "We pride ourselves on serving the best food in town.
"All our dishes are carefully selected and we are especially proud of our delicious curries which contain our own blend of herbs and spices.
"Our staff are highly trained and put great effort into ensuring that your experience at Zara's is both memorable and enjoyable.
"With a licensed bar, excellent vegetarian options and beautiful atmosphere, we cater for all tastes, always with the warmest of welcomes."
