THESE guys don’t half know how to make a splash!

Businessman Matt Glossop and children’s doctor Mike Thomson are getting ready to defend their title at the World Water Bombing Championships at Sheffield Ponds Forge sports centre tonight.

They are among the four-part ‘Fatboys’ team taking to the diving boards again tonight to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Dr Thomson, aged 32, who works at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, said: “My mum died from oesophageal cancer a few years ago and the Macmillan nurses were fantastic.

“The event is really good fun - we got dressed up as nurses last year and I even did a backwards somersault, without any practice!”

Spectators can watch the fun tonight for just £2.

The event starts at 6.30pm with a demonstration from the Ponds Forge diving team.
