ART lovers gained an insight into the work of Andy Warhol thanks to famous philanthropist Anthony D’Offay at an event held at Sheffield Hallam University.
The talk tied in with the new Andy Warhol exhibition at Graves Gallery, which Anthony has helped bring to the city through his company Artist Rooms.
Anthony also toured Sheffield Institute of Arts at the university where he talked to current undergraduate and postgraduate art students and saw some of their work, before taking questions.
An agent to a host of world-renowned artists in the 1960s, Anthony also talked about his own relationship with Warhol, pointing out some of the recurrent themes in his work. Anthony was born in Sheffield and has an honorary doctorate from SHU.
