Hundreds gathered from across the country to take part in the second Doncaster Cycle Festival.
Racing is taking place today (Sunday May 31) around a 1km closed town centre circuit, with the start and finish line in Sir Nigel Gresley Square.
More than 300 riders have entered the eight-race programme, from under 8s right up to senior elite level, and a number of paracyclists will also be taking part.
Speaking at the event organiser Martin Maltby said: “Today’s event is building on the success of last year.
“Over 300 riders have pre-entered from all across the north of England and some from as far as the Isle of Man.
“There’s a lot of spectators coming to support the event, it’s proving to very popular.”
